Community Health Advocates is committed to making our website welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we serve our community, and we work to improve it on an ongoing basis.

Our approach

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of abilities.

What we do

• We use clear, plain language and a readable layout.
• We provide text descriptions for meaningful images.
• We design for keyboard navigation and screen readers.
• We aim for strong color contrast and text that can be resized.
• We offer information and support in English, Spanish, and Bengali.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never finished. Some parts of our website may not yet meet every guideline, and we continue to test and improve. If you come across a barrier, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
